Inspirational and active community leader for more than 20 years. Her work has had a demonstrable and profound impact on communities and the land. Charmaine works with multiple Iwi and nursery programmes which aims to restore 20 million native plants.

Dr Dan has become world-renowned for successfully integrating Earth system science with mātauranga Māori – Māori knowledge, culture, values and worldview – to help realise the dreams of the communities he works with.

Bianca has dedicated much of her adult life to getting youth out into nature and on the right track. She is tireless campaigner for the restoration of the Hauraki Gulf regularly heading to the Beehive to meet with decision makers to find positive pathways forward.
